The restaurant there was perfect for what it was. The lighthouse park was just what the doctor ordered! Super place to hang and have a swim, walk, bike or go fishing and birding. Just keep looking up is my advice! Having never been to the Key it took us a little while to appreciate the parks. We went to a super diner there and it keep calling to us! Look at me! I am dirty! All this while eating a $150 dinner with excellent waiters and the head chef was super. problem is, it made everything look dirty and it did have pulls and food particles on it. it's one of those rugs made to disguise stains. We could not take our eyes off of it and it put a cloud over the experience there. The rug in the Lightkeeper is the most ugly rug ever made! it looks like something from a 60 year old dinner. I met Omar in the Spa and things got great! What an awesome spa attendant! The place is as you would expect but it did have one honking glaring icky. Then, we met Alper and everything got a lot better. Then they charged us for valet even though it was included in my package. So, we drove in to the valet and nobody helped. And they give you good lunches and free ice-cream every day! And they talk to you during the lunch, the directors really care" More Show less Savvy From Skylar : "The place has padded floors, couches that you can jump on, nerf guns and targets and they let you go outside and play sports, twister, basketball, and anything else you wanted to bring. They had every craft you could imagine, a video game system, a bunch of toys, and a pet turtle you could play with, but above all the directors played with you and would help you do whatever you wanted. The directors of the kids club, Cristine and Daniella, were absolutely amazing. I will say being Spring Break, it is crazy busy but they have done a great job accommodating all these children! "We stay at a lot of kids clubs and this is definitely are favorite. Expect free live music on the streets, gallery exhibitions (and free wine) and pop-up style markets throughout the colorful neighborhood.Stayed here as I needed to work out of our Coral Gables office, left my kids in the kids club and here is what they have to say! We are actually still staying here as it's Easter weekend, but they are so excited to share their experience.
